30 years a published author

I had a wonderful time with friends, children and a few fans last week, launching Help! and celebrating 30 years as a published author. Even Cheltenham’s local MP, Alex Chalk, came along with his young family. I couldn’t resist reading Shhh! because it always gets such a great response, and well done Emma for being such a great helper! As for Stu, who supplied the giant’s huge snore – aided by a microphone – he nearly brought the house down, and I could scarcely make it to the end of the book I was laughing so much!
