Chhht ! – lecture en français

Here’s a great video of Chhht ! in French to give you an idea of how the book works and how to read it. Chhht ! has sold over 220,000 copies in France and Belgium and become something of a cult. When illustrator, Peter Utton, and I visited Brussels and Paris in late 2014 to sign books, we were greatly moved to find three generations of people queuing up, and to have teenagers who grew up with Chhht ! wanting to say hello. I found the video below on You Tube. It’s a really good reading of the story, though you can’t of course beat sharing the physical book with children! Enjoy!
