I hope you'll enjoy wandering around my site.  Just to tell you a little about

myself, I was born in Woolwich and grew up in the Medway Towns.  I

studied French Literature at Sussex University, and then began working

for a national children's book club.  I stayed there as Editorial Director

for 17 years.  During that time I had my first children's books published.

I have been a full-time author since 1995, and have had

over 100 books published - I don't know the exact

number - some of which have won awards.  I now live

in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, with my three sons -

when they're not at university - and Dizzy, my very

old cat.
